.
Fleming has a truly unique approach to working with people with autism, as he knows firsthand what it is like. In addition to providing excellent workouts, Fleming is a great inspiration and role model to many living with autism.
.
Fleming attributes his success to his unique style of personal training, which focuses on improving the overall health of his clients.
.
“We do not consider this to be a typical disability kind of therapy,” said Fleming. “Exercise is a therapy that everybody in life should participate in and is lifelong, thus there are no “graduation” achievement milestones. I also want to be a person that these individuals can turn to, so they can see they are not alone or helpless.”
.
Fleming’s goal is to use functional training for individuals with autism that not only incorporates strength and cardiovascular training but can also help motor planning, social skills, and cognitive functioning. Fleming has been profiled by numerous websites, blogs, web shows, TV news stations, and even CNN.
