Friend in Me is a non-profit group that connects kids with disabilities with volunteer students for online games and conversations on a weekly basis. Each session is free and runs approximately half an hour and three sessions are made available per week. The goal is to develop long term friendships. Games include, but are not limited to, Pictionary, Hangman, Connect 4, Tic tac toe, Charades, Scattergories, Eye Spy, Roblox, Kahoot, Minecraft, Checkers & Chess, 20 Questions, Battleship, and Uno. Participants may sign up for as many or as few sessions as they like.
Friend in Me is for kids with disabilities between the ages of 8 and 18. Parents/aides are welcome to facilitate if needed. Zoom link provided upon sign-up.
