Get ready to celebrate the new school year in a big way at Kidchella, an inclusive back-to-school bash hosted by F.R.I.E.N.D.S. West Florida! This FREE event is designed especially for children and teens with disabilities (up to age 16) and their families. It’s more than just a party—it’s a celebration of inclusion, community, and the joy of learning together.
Come prepared for a fun-filled afternoon packed with exciting activities for all to enjoy. Cool off with sweet treats from the Kona Ice Truck, enjoy a variety of food and beverages, and dance to upbeat music in a welcoming and sensory-friendly environment.
At the heart of this inclusive back-to-school bash is the mission of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. West Florida—to support, celebrate, and uplift individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities. At the Back-to-School Bash, every child can feel included, supported, and ready for the school year ahead.
There will also be quiet areas available for those who need a break from the excitement, helping create a safe and comfortable space for every guest.
