An inclusive camp for children of all abilities ages 6-12

Scotland•Laos•Zimbabwe•New Zealand

Creative Clay’s 2021 inclusive Art Around the World camp focuses on four cultures—Scotland, Zimbabwe, Laos and New Zealand–and will incorporate art history lessons into each class. The camp classroom environment has a 6:1 camper/teacher ratio and is designed to provide individually paced learning, freedom of expression, and sensitivity to learning differences. Children have the opportunity to study the different cultures through a variety of media. All children will have one painting per week on exhibit at the St. Petersburg Museum of History at the St. Pete Pier. Class size is limited to 12 students (six per studio) with a professional teaching artist and two teaching assistants.

June 21–July 30
M-F from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
$200 per week (scholarships available)

Schedule of the day:
9:00 a.m. Arrival (There is no before or after care)
9:45 a.m. Project #1 Studio Time
11:30 a.m. Lunch/Games: Free lunch will be provided by the PCSB
12:15 p.m. Project #2 Studio Time
1:00 p.m. Snack provided by Pinellas County School Board
2:00 p.m. Music, Movement and/or Theater
3:00 p.m. Dismissal
