This sensory-friendly gymnastics open gym is hosted by Bayside Sports Academy.

Bayside Sports Academy’s sensory-friendly open gym hour provides a welcoming, low-stimulation space where children of all abilities can explore movement at their own pace. Unlike structured classes, open gym offers a flexible environment. During sensory-friendly gymnastics open gym, Bayside Sports Academy reduces sensory overload with dimmed lights, softer sounds, and fewer participants. This allows children to feel more comfortable and in control as they engage in physical play and build motor skills. The open gym setup includes access to gymnastics equipment such as balance beams, trampolines, foam pits, and mats. Supportive Bayside staff on hand encourage safe play and offer guidance as needed. This unstructured time allows kids to develop strength, coordination, and confidence without pressure or overstimulation.
