Sensory-Friendly Halloween at the Florida Aquarium
October 26 @ 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Cost: $10Event Navigation
This sensory-friendly Halloween, “Guppyween”, is hosted by The Florida Aquarium.
Join The Florida Aquarium for a thrilling Sensory-Friendly Halloween- “Guppyween”- a unique, adaptive evening designed specifically for individuals with sensory differences and their families before the Aquarium opens. This carefully curated event offers a welcoming space for those who benefit from a quieter, calmer environment to explore the wonders of the ocean without the usual crowds and stimulation.
Guppyween features a modified aquarium experience tailored for guests with autism, sensory sensitivities, or accessibility challenges. To create a supportive environment, attendance is limited, and select sensory triggers, such as flashing lights, loud sounds, and special effects, are reduced or removed entirely. This thoughtful approach ensures that every guest can comfortably enjoy exhibits, interact with aquatic life, and make lasting memories alongside their loved ones.
It is the goal of The Florida Aquarium to remove barriers to participation of Guppyween; admission for this event is reserved for families and children with sensory differences and/or accessibility challenges.
Activities include:
Trick-or-treating
Animal encounters featuring creepy critters
Rocky & Tango character appearances
Costumed divers

And more!
