Experience the History Center with minimized disturbances and optional sensory experiences for families with sensory-processing needs.
Presented in partnership with USF’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, Sensory-Friendly Saturday is a multi-sensory approach to learning about the past.
History Center docents will have touch carts and learning stations where visitors, if they choose to, can see, touch and smell as they explore the museum’s three floors of exhibits in comfort. Special signage and quiet areas will also be provided.
