Teddy Bear Clinic at Gigi’s Playhouse

This teddy bear clinic is hosted by Gigi’s Playhouse.

The Teddy Bear Clinic is a fun way for individuals with Down syndrome to navigate a doctor’s or dentist’s office by bringing their stuffed animal or favorite toy for a check-up. Come meet healthcare professionals and providers in a friendly and secure environment. Participants can navigate through a typical appointment for the teddy bear. They will then help providers check the teddy bears’ vital signs, take X-rays, and put on band-aids. This offers them a chance to ask questions and see standard equipment. This clinic will show everyone that a trip to the doctor or dentist is a fun and safe place to visit!
