Inclusive Beach Party

Help Us Gather – HUG is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Inclusive Beach Party hosted by Friends of HUG Social Group, a community for adults with disabilities. The event for up to 150 guests will be held on the beautiful Sand Key Beach, Florida Mobi-mat so that our friends with mobility needs can join the fun!

Embracing the Beach Party theme, guests are encouraged to wear their favorite beach attire. HUG will even host a competition for the most decked out beachgoer of the night. The evening will include:

– Upbeat tunes spun live by a DJ
– Dance lessons from a Pro-Dancer
– Beach Outfit Runway Contest (optional)
– Beach Games like limbo, tug of war, corn hole, etc.
– Creative Face Painting
– Full Dinner compliments of Sand Key Beach Grill Food Truck
– Breathtaking view of the Clearwater Beach Sunset
– Fun prizes
– Making unforgettable memories

HUG friends and one guest attend at no charge. Additional guests are welcome to attend for $15, which covers HUG’s cost for food.

After working tirelessly as part of a team to bring the Sand Key MobiMat and others to Tampa Bay beaches, HUG is excited to celebrate the accessibility that this mat brings to countless men, women, and children who reside in and visit the beautiful beaches. HUG is so appreciative of Pinellas County for its vigilance in maintaining this important tool for accessibility throughout hurricane season and after – ensuring it is still available for use for many years to come.
