Quarterly talks on Thursday evenings, 5:00 – 8:00 pm, at CMA’s Dolphin Tale Theater on the fourth floor.
Meet Dr. James “Buddy” Powell and Jamal Galves, Superheroes of Manatee Conservation, discussing protecting these gentle giants. A top manatee expert, Dr. Powell shares tales from his lifelong research, including his encounter with Jacques Cousteau.
Jamal Galves, inspired by Dr. Powell, dedicates his life to manatee protection. Learn about his journey and how they make a difference globally. Discover our new Manatee Rehabilitation Center and initiatives with CMA’s Manatee Manager, Tanya Ward. Don’t miss it!
