GiGi’s Playhouse presents Cheer Gems – Virtual Registration Meeting

This event is sponsored by GiGi’s Playhouse.

Cheer Gems is a partnership between GiGi’s Playhouse and Pop Warner Cheer and Dance to create an inclusive cheerleading team. This commitment program is offered to Playhouse families, including those with Down syndrome and their siblings, ages 5-18. The Cheer Gems have scheduled practices and perform at Pop Warner Football Games, Competitions and Exhibitions, and Outreach and Community Events. The program builds self-confidence, increases social skills, promotes fitness and strength, builds expressive language, encourages teamwork, supports cognitive abilities and memorization, and spreads the message of acceptance and inclusion. Annual enrollment begins each Spring for the season launch in August.
