Out of the Box Troupe (Lakeland)

Lakeland Community Theatre’s Out of the Box Troupe, a 40-member theater group for individuals aged 12 to 50 with special needs, meets weekly for activities such as improv, scene work, dance, poetry, and music. Sponsored by the GiveWell Community Foundation, the free program accepts new members in January/February and August/September. The troupe stages a one-act musical production twice a year for the community, and all participants must be available for the concluding performances.
