Sensational SciFest is a sensory-friendly event that features hands-on experiences with real-life scientists in a free community event that celebrates science and art in a comfortable and safe environment.

Designed around children with sensory sensitivities and other disabilities, we offer a sensory-friendly event that’s fun for everyone. Families can explore interactive exhibits, engage with STEM professionals, and participate in creative activities tailored for all abilities. With a variety of engaging demonstrations, hands-on experiments, and art-based projects, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Not feeling like bright lights or loud sounds? No problem! We have our exhibits marked so you know what to expect. Plus, all of our scientists and event-day volunteers are CARD-trained to engage with sensory-sensitive kids. Our team is dedicated to creating an inclusive atmosphere, ensuring that every participant feels welcome, supported, and encouraged to explore. They can help you and your family navigate the fun or make your way to a calming zone if needed.
