. The Deaf Literacy Center (DLC) is a library-based literacy program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. This program is a service of the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative and serves all of Pinellas County by providing coordinated administrative services for member libraries. .
The Deaf Literacy Center provides a bilingual/bicultural learning environment for Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing individuals. The DLC offers small group and individualized basic literacy instruction, traditional library and information services, computer literacy, signed storytimes, special workshops and presenters, sign language classes, book discussions, and more. .
