There’s something for every member of the family at Idlewild Baptist Church in Lutz. From preschool to senior adults, you’ll find small groups, special events, and more designed just for you. At Idlewild, you can get involved in music, recreation, community outreach, missions and evangelism, and more. Plus you’ll find special events throughout the year including our Global Missions Conference, Men’s and Women’s Ministry events, Vacation Bible School for children, the Christmas presentations, and more designed to help you grow spiritually, fellowship with friends, and reach out to others.

We offer Bible Study classes at 9:15 and 11:00 on Sundays, inclusive and self-contained options. We also offer a Music/Art program on Wednesdays at 6:30.

At Idlewild, we desire to include each person in the life of the church. Our Special Needs Ministry provides an appropriate and supportive environment for adults, teens, and children impacted by a disability or special needs, while other family members attend worship service, Bible Fellowship groups, or serve in the church. Because of the unique nature of each individual we serve, we ask all new participants in the program to complete a questionnaire and meet with the Special Needs Ministry leader before attending the program.

Our Preschool, Children’s Ministry, and Student Ministry all welcome students with varying abilities. Because each situation is unique, you are encouraged to call in advance so that together we can work toward the best setting for each student.
